Why are there icons that look like mousetraps on the top of the page? Why are the structures of the pages inconsistent? What is this green line cutting off the text?
If I had a dollar for every question like this I’ve been asked over the last two years… I’d be able to re-design the entire website.
Well I didn’t get a dollar for every question but I re-designed it anyway. The layout was clunky and pieced together like an arts & crafts project (One of my crap projects from 3rd grade, not one of those over-achieving types. I always hated them. You know who you are).
It was old and saggy, you might call it the Betty White of fantasy sports sites. Well NO MORE. MVPExchange has undergone a total facelift and is now the Minka Kelly of fantasy sports sites. Sleek, sexy, looks great on your iPhone.
People will buy anything
The truth is that I was always so concerned with making the site function properly that I totally neglected the appearance. Steve Jobs convinced me that people will buy any piece of crap as long as it looks nice (See: those orange Macs from the 7th grade computer lab).
